The Tidy team

Melanie is the founder and owner of The Tidy Fox. As a former VP of Operations she has a passion for creating systems that improve the function of all things. Her ability to visualize new ways to assist clients in their everyday spaces is the reason no job is impossible. 

Melanie resides in Kane County with her two children and dog. She is a child of God, an artist, and a closeted optimist. When she is not helping others in their homes she can be found dancing, painting, writing, teaching fitness classes, walking her dog, but mostly sitting on her couch with a cup of coffee and a good book. 

Danielle is a former elementary school teacher, turned stay at home mom who knows that organization and solid systems are a necessity to keep stress levels to a minimum. 

After sharing way too many pretty pictures of newly organized spaces in her own home with Melanie (because no one else got the same sense of satisfaction), she was recruited for one job, which quickly turned into a regular gig. She loves the thrill of walking into a space that needs some attention and leaving it decluttered, organized, and with systems in place going for the future. Though more importantly, leaving our client with a sense of relief. She’s also a pretty big fan of labels… the label maker and her cricut are two of her favorite things.

In her free time she loves creating seasonal bucket lists full of activities and adventures for her three kids. She can also be found reading, scrapbooking, and organizing her own spaces!

As a former teacher and events coordinator, creating calm in chaos has always been a passion of Tammy's. The daily grind can be so overwhelming for everyone! She loves walking into a space and visualizing ways to help busy families get back on track. Her favorite projects are large-scale decluttering jobs that leave clients feeling as if a load has been removed, both figuratively and literally. Tammy understands how active lifestyles quickly become stressful. She aims to create easy systems that work for everyone in the household. Judgment free!  

Tammy currently lives in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago with her husband, three children, and XL Chihuahua. She loves creating new recipes, reading, and torturing herself at spin classes. Tammy spends her free time watching her children compete in every sport imaginable, making up holidays, and sipping a margarita (or two).
